OBAMA CONCERNED ABOUT ZIMBABWE'S ELECTION RESULTS DELAY.

United States presidential hopeful senator Barack Obama has expressed concern over the delay of the Zimbabwe's presidential elections results. He condemned Mugabe for mobilizing the so called "war veterans," in order to intimidate the people of Zimbabwe in case of a runoff. Barack further condemned the detentions of two foreign journalist, among them a reporter of the New York times.

"Zimbabwe now appears poised to hold a run-off election for the presidency, which Mugabe has vowed to contest, This election must be conducted in a fully transparent manner, free from intimidation and consistent with the rule of law. These elections have the potential to be truly historic, if indeed they are fully free and fair, Their conduct and outcome will determine if Zimbabwe's economic and humanitarian crisis is deepened, or if the door is finally opened to a new and more hopeful chapter in Zimbabwe's history."

Obama, who is running head to head with senator Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination, is campaigning heavily in Indiana. For the first time in forty years, the state of Indiana might decide the Democratic presidential nominee. Both Clinton and Obama are heavily bombarding the state of Indiana with rallies and television commercials. Nationwide independent polls shows that Barack is leading against both Hillary and John McCain. McCain has already won the Republican nominee for November. Barack Obama could be the first African American president of United States, if he wins in November.
